OUR FOUNDER
Raised in India, UMA Oils founder Shrankhla Holecek, immersed herself in the knowledge and cultural tradition of Ayurveda and holistic medicine. While in business school in Beverly Hills, she was soon frustrated with misappropriations of the Indian rituals and practices that she had grown up with. She then realized it was time to create a line of products with integrity that would do justice to her family’s heritage.
