Essential Oils

Essential oils are made from the various natural products that contain plant and animal based materials. These essential oils are considered to be the most effective in fighting against certain diseases and maintaining an optimal health state. Essential oils were first used by the ancient civilizations in aromatherapy. The earliest known use of aromatherapy was in Egypt during the second millennium BC. Different types of essential oils are extracted from these plants. Theyare then prepared in a variety of ways. One of the popular methods in making essential oils is the steam distillation method. This method can be used with any essential oil.
